There are 5 broad steps to the process:
1. Site Analysis:
Free Hot Water conducts free on-site assessment. We determine shading, if any, your site experiences at different times of the day and, measuring available collector mounting area, we determine the most efficient system for your site.
2. Energy Use Analysis:
Using past utility and water bills that we obtain from your utility company with your permission, we determine the ideal system to optimize your investment.
3. Design and Proposal:
Using the Site and Energy Use Analysis, as well as your budget, we design a system to fit your application. We present a bid for the system cost, clearly outlining the scope of work and project timeline. The bid includes all system materials (and a 10 year warranty on all parts), installation, rebate and incentive applications and any required permits. One of our certified installers contacts you to arrange installation.
4. Rebates and Permits:
We submit your rebate application(s) and any required building permit applications, including all necessary blueprints and designs.
5. System Installation:
One of our certified contractors installs your system in a timely fashion.
Your system is now fully operational and begins to pay for itself right away with immediate energy savings!
